Quick finishes

I realised a few days ago that I had not only done an ornament for this month but that I hadn't done one for May either :(
So I pulled out these two and got them stitched up a in a day :)  I'm not sure where the sleigh will end up but I almost certain that the bear will go to Caleb.

This week ....

I worked on my normal version of CdC for a while

Gave Mary some attention on Friday and finished the blue motif

And spent the weekend working on My Earth when I wasn't giving my bedroom a belated spring clean (the pic looks a little odd because I had to unroll the scroll to take it so it's half resting on it)

Sunday's progress

Finishing it and making it up into a cushion counts as progress doesn't it??
Well it does in my book :)

I did a few speciality stitches on it, nothing really exciting mostly satin stitch, symrna crosses, eyelets and long armed xs.
I also switched one of the colours in the bowl at the top for delica's and used PB 01 instead of the called for DMC metallic

Wednesday's progress

At first glance it looks like I didn't do much yesterday but that's because most of it is on the bottom half .
I finished off The Secret Garden, those single stitches take more time than I'd like but I couldn't really jump across with it being for the Cheshire Show, the judges are really, really picky (think too much fruit in a fruit cake picky!!)

Bookshelf progress

With the Cheshire Show less than a week away and me not having finished my entry I thought I'd try and post progress every day so you can all convince me I can do it in time :)
This is from over the weekend and the start of the week.

Thank you for all you comments on the Albion flowers.  They are a little tricky to do but well worth the effort I think and the second one was so much easier than the first

Albion Stitch Flowers

When Mum got the latest issue of Bead I had a look through and fell in love with the Albion Stitch flowers in it.
These are my first 2 and I have 2 more planned for now.

The first one and what a learning curve it was

And the second one is my favourite so far.

Couple of beading finishes

I finally got round to finishing off the earrings to go with my triangle bracelet they have been half done for a couple of months and I got fed up of looking at them on the edge of my beading mat.  All I need to do now is a necklace

When I went to the bead fair a few weeks ago I picked up a couple of pens to bead (all the years I've been beading and it's something I'd not done!!) and I say down and did one on and off over the last week

I had Linda's in the last round and the name of the project escapes me right now!

May Progress & June Goals

For May I said
UFO RR  Done
Finish Celtic Banner  Done
Stitch an ornament No :(
Decide on my Birthday start  Yes and started it

For June I'd like to
UFO RR
Finish The Bookshelf and enter it in the Cheshire Show

Very small goals for me this month so should be doable.

I stitched for 75 hours 43 minutes in May, had 3 new starts and 1 finish.

Current PHD total = 40

TUSAL time

It's that time of month once again so here's my progress on my favourite SAL :)
I've added orts from Celtic Banner, Bookshelf, Basket of Apples, Caleb's Birth Sampler, My Earth, Winter Wingding, Blackwork Trellis, UFO RR and assorted colours of beading thread.
